The high level of domestic casting production technology is limited to a few key enterprises. The overall technical level of the industry is backward, the quality of castings is low, the consumption of materials and energy is high, the economic benefits are poor, the labor conditions are harsh, and the pollution is serious.
The specific manifestation is that the mold is still processed by hand or simple machinery; the socialization, specialization and commercialization of the production and supply of casting raw and auxiliary materials are far from being able to meet the needs of the development of new processes and technologies in terms of variety and quality; casting The production level and quality of alloy materials are low; the production management is backward; the process design is mostly based on personal experience, and the application of computer technology is less; the basic conditions such as casting technology and equipment are poor; the proportion of manual operations in the production process is high, and the technical quality of on-site workers is low; only a few large automobiles . The foundry of the Internal Combustion Engine Group adopts advanced molding core making technology. Most of the foundry enterprises still use shock-compression molding machines or even manual molding. Most investment foundries are mainly made of water glass shells; low-pressure casting can only produce small and medium-sized non-ferrous or cast iron parts, but not steel castings; the stable production of EPC technology is limited to castings such as exhaust pipes and casings, and the productivity Below 30 type/hour, the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of castings are low; although a relatively complete casting industry standard system has been established, most enterprises passively implement the standards, and the enterprise standards are mostly lower than GB (national standard) and ISO (international standard) , and some enterprises have a rejection rate of up to 30%; the quality and market awareness are not strong, and only a few professional foundry enterprises have passed the ISO9000 certification. The quality management research combined with the characteristics of foundry enterprises is very weak.
Whether there is a recognized standard for casting a strong country, maybe not, but it should be a project and goal worth exploring and working towards. For China to become a powerful country in the world’s manufacturing industry, the foundry industry is its important basic industry. It is impossible to imagine that China, as the world’s manufacturing power, can also be without the support of a strong Chinese foundry industry.
