In order to change the backward situation of my country’s foundry industry, which is more but not strong, firstly, it is necessary to establish an access system for foundry enterprises, and formulate the minimum conditions (ie access standards) that must be met in terms of production scale, environmental protection and labor security, and restrict new construction. For foundry enterprises that do not meet the standards, push the existing enterprises to meet the standards through transformation or recombination.
The second is to vigorously develop the specialized production of foundry, and within a certain period of time, take advantage of preferential policies such as taxation to continue to support professional foundry enterprises to accelerate technological transformation and environmental governance. The third is to encourage key foundry enterprises and leading export enterprises to form a number of large foundry enterprise groups through mergers or alliances, improve the level of technology and equipment, and expand the scale of production, so as to drive the improvement of the entire industry. The fourth is to develop a number of mold manufacturing, quality inspection, raw and auxiliary material processing centers, or establish a group of foundry raw and auxiliary material supply centers and quality inspection centers in areas where foundry companies are concentrated to help foundry companies improve product quality.
In terms of R&D innovation, we lag behind the industrialized countries. Most of the castings we produce are low-tech and low-value-added products. There are very few castings with independent intellectual property rights and international reputation. Some key castings with high technical requirements in industrial production must be imported. Only by working hard on the above aspects can my country’s foundry industry gradually change this backward situation.
